Y-shape PEG Acetaldehyde from JenKem Technology is an Y-shaped N-terminal reactive 2arm PEG. JenKem proprietary Y-shape PEGs are more selective than linear PEGs, due to their sterically bulky structure. Y-shaped Acetaldehyde PEGs react with N-terminal amines in the presence of a reducing reagent at pH 5-8. Y-shape PEG Acetaldehyde is more selective but less reactive compared with Y-shaped Propionaldehyde.
