As a vital member of JenKem Technology, the Business Development Associate plays a crucial role in the growth and expansion of our presence in the PEG-related sector. This position involves actively engaging in business development activities, forging partnerships, and contributing to strategic market initiatives. We are seeking an energetic and results-oriented individual with a passion for business development, excellent communication skills, and a desire to make a significant impact in the biopharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in business development initiatives for JenKem Technology in the PEG-related area.
  • Assist in identifying, negotiating, and finalizing deals and agreements with customers and collaborators.
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of market strategies for PEG derivatives and PEGylation services, focusing on the US and global markets.
  • Research organizations and individuals through networks to discover new business opportunities.
  • Engage with new and existing customers, arranging meetings and conferences as needed.
  • Collaborate in the preparation, review, and finalization of business documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Support the VP of Business Development and VP of Operations in various business-related activities.
  • Participate in personnel training programs to enhance business development skills within the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, chemistry, polymers, biomaterials, or life sciences is required.
  • Possess 3+ years of working experience, with a strong preference for individuals with relevant business development expertise in the biopharmaceutical sector. This experience should include strategic planning, identification of new supply opportunities, customer development, and successful contract finalization.
  • Proven track record of executing and completing relevant business development transactions, showcasing a history of tangible contributions to organizational growth.
  • Preferred experience in project management, with the ability to efficiently manage complex projects and multitask effectively in a dynamic business environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of fundamental concepts related to intellectual property (IP), patents, and contract law, ensuring compliance and informed decision-making.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with excellent organizational skills. The ability to collaborate effectively within a team and adapt to changing priorities is essential.
  • Knowledgeable about existing and emerging PEG technologies and markets, demonstrating an understanding of industry trends and innovations.

Accounting and Finance Specialist

We are seeking a Finance and Accounting Specialist to oversee various financial functions within our company. the ideal candidate will be responsible for managing funds, handling cash transactions, maintaining financial records, and supporting external audits. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with different departments to ensure effective financial operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Accounting:
    • Adhere to company financial management policies and procedures for processing funds related to various economic transactions. Ensure accuracy in all financial transactions and promptly compile cash and bank journals upon completion.
    • Manage payment services. Handle checks, credit card transactions, and related management. Reconcile daily bank account details, prepare report including bank journals, statement and reconciliations for review by the group finance department.
    • Utilize and manage financial recording. Prepare monthly and annual cash flow statements. Provide financial statistics to business departments as per their requirements. Maintain financial records and ledgers in accordance with company policies. Submit periodic reports and reconciliations to the group finance department.
  • Fixed Asset Management: Register and tag newly acquired fixed assets. Handle fixed assets accounting. Conduct quarterly physical inventories of fixed assets and generate inventory reports.
  • External Agency Coordination: Provide required financial information to external agencies on a monthly basis. Collaborate in completing annual audits and tax audits with external agencies.
  • Account Receivable: Record daily customer payments and maintain records as per sales department requirements. Monthly tracking of overdue customer receivables and assistance in debt collection.
  • Assist in ad-hoc tasks assigned by manager and Corporate finance department
  • Job responsibilities are subject to adjustment based on operational needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of proven experience in finance and accounting roles
  • Strong understanding of financial management policies and practices.
  • Proficiency in using financial recording software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other software/tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is highly preferred.
